Tax Cuts in Spring Statement

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has recently delivered his Spring Statement announcing a number of tax cuts to Parliament to deal with the cost of living crisis.

Inflation has risen to 6.2% the Chancellor has revelaed that the payment threshhold for National Insurance will rise to £12,570 from July 2022. The Chancellor has also announced that income tax will be reduced from 20% to 19% in 2024 which would see an average tax palyer benefit from up to £175 a year.
